This study evaluates the use of fly ash and polypropylene (PP) plastic as alternative composite materials in the production of environmentally friendly paving blocks. Three mix compositions were tested: 1 : 4 : 1, 1.5 : 4 : 1, and 2 : 4 : 1 (fly ash : PP : sand), followed by compressive strength and water absorption tests at 28 days based on SNI 03-0691-1996 standards. Results indicated that the 1.5 : 4 : 1 composition achieved the best performance, with a compressive strength of 11.59 MPa and water absorption of 0.75%, meeting grade D standards. Excessive fly ash addition up to 50% significantly reduced strength due to increased porosity and disrupted particle bonding. The study demonstrates that an optimal combination of fly ash and PP can reduce industrial and plastic waste while producing high-quality paving blocks that support sustainable construction.
