Earthquakes cause damage to buildings and result in loss of life. The city of Ternate has experienced several recent earthquakes, including a 7.3-magnitude (Richter scale) event on November 15, 2014, a 5.4-magnitude event on January 25, 2015, and a 6.6-magnitude event on June 8, 2016, among many others. The purpose of this study is to examine the pushover analysis procedure for evaluating the performance of building structures and to determine the collapse patterns of these structures following such an analysis. This research employs the Static Pushover Analysis method, based on the displacement coefficient method (ATC-40). The lateral loads applied are derived from an equivalent static analysis, executed monotonically in a single direction. The study yields several conclusions. First, the maximum displacement results from the pushover analysis are as follows: for the X-direction, $S_a = 0.018$ and $S_d = 0.402$; for the Y-direction, $S_a = 0.014$ and $S_d = 0.403$. Furthermore, the analysis for the X-direction shows a maximum total drift of 0.00097 and a maximum inelastic drift of 0.018890, while the analysis for the Y-direction shows a maximum total drift of 0.000871 and a maximum inelastic drift of 0.016990. According to the ATC-40 standard, these results fall into the "Immediate Occupancy" (IO) performance level, indicating that in the event of an earthquake, only minor structural damage would occur. The characteristics and capacity of the vertical and lateral force-resisting systems remain consistent with their pre-earthquake state, ensuring the building remains safe and fit for immediate continued use.
